How Dating Apps Change Human Connection

Nikki threw herself into the chair in front of Joachim in the cafeteria and it was obvious that they were in completely different moods.

“What a weekend!” she said.

“Sorry I haven’t heard from you, but that date you sent me on – what a guy.

I might as well call it quits now,” she said, laughing when he looked scared.

“Don’t worry,” she said.

This online dating thing has taken on a new meaning for me.

We’re going to follow through.

But wo-ow.”

“Glad he was good,” Joachim said with feigned delight.

“When are you ready for the next one?”

“Anytime,” she said.

“I mean, when are you open to the next date because it seems like your thoughts are completely on the other guy.”

“So,” she said.

“He had something that reminded me of my ex.

I’ve wondered if that’s why I fell for him.”

“Maybe,” said Joachim.

“What do I know?”

“But of course we’ll go on the next date.

How about we pick someone out after school?”

“Okay.

Come by my place tonight.”

“Absolutely,” she said and floated away on her little clouds that Joachim wished would become so heavy that they would start raining down.

Nikki didn’t have any classes, so she walked home and as she walked, she thought about what she had just said to Joachim.

Was it that she had actually been so attracted to Stephan just because he looked like Fredric and even acted a bit like him?

He had money and style.

Joachim… It was nice to have what might be a new friend.

The closer she got home, the more she began to doubt herself.

Was this really a date she was interested in, or did she remind herself of Fredric?

So much had happened in the last few days that she had difficulty focusing.

The dates always touched her inside.

G8KeyPR did exactly the right thing by rooting around in what was either broken or sensitive in her.

For a moment, she wondered how she would survive 6 more emotional storms.

She decided not to go home but to walk around until it was time to go to Joachim’s house to pick up date number 4.

Yes! PlayNDate was created for people who wanted something slower, deeper and more human.
